These terms and conditions govern the relationship between international students and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and its affiliated universities. By applying to or enrolling in any ICAR institution, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Agreement to Terms

By submitting an application or enrolling in any ICAR-affiliated university, you:

• Acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions
• Confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements specified
• Agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and policies of the institution
• Accept responsibility for all financial obligations
• Understand and accept the academic and disciplinary standards

Legal Age and Capacity

You must:

• Be at least 16 years of age as of the admission date
• Have legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• Have parental/guardian consent if under 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and truthful information in all applications

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These terms are governed by the laws of India
• All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi
• ICAR reserves the right to modify these terms at any time
• Changes will be communicated through official channels
• Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of modified terms

Application Process

Eligibility Requirements:

Application Accuracy:

• All information provided must be accurate and complete
• False or misleading information will result in immediate rejection

Application Fees:

• Application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances

• ICAR is not responsible for payment processing errors

Admission Offer

Conditional Offers:

• Admission offers may be conditional upon meeting specific requirements
• Conditions must be fulfilled within specified timeframes
• Failure to meet conditions may result in offer withdrawal
• ICAR reserves the right to amend or withdraw offers
• No obligation exists to provide reasons for offer withdrawal

Offer Acceptance:

• Acceptance must be communicated within specified deadlines
• Acceptance is binding and constitutes agreement to all terms
• Withdrawal after acceptance may incur financial penalties
• Acceptance confirms understanding of all program requirements
• Late acceptance may result in loss of admission opportunity

💰 Financial Terms

Fee Structure and Payment

Tuition Fees:

• Fees are payable in advance as specified by the university
• Fee structure is subject to revision by ICAR/university authorities
• International students may be charged different fee structures
• Fees are non-refundable except as specified in refund policy
• Payment methods and currencies are specified by each institution

Additional Costs:

• Students are responsible for all additional costs not included in tuition
• These include accommodation, food, travel, insurance, and personal expenses
• Laboratory and examination fees may be charged separately
• Field trip and study tour costs are the student’s responsibility
• Additional charges may apply for specialized equipment or materials

Payment Deadlines:

• Strict adherence to payment deadlines is required
• Late payment may result in penalties or loss of privileges
• Non-payment may lead to suspension or termination of enrollment

• Currency conversion rates are determined by the university

Scholarships and Financial Aid:

Refund Policy

Academic Performance

Academic Integrity:

Coursework and Examinations

Assignment Submissions:

FRRO Registration:

📞 Dispute Resolution

🚫 Prohibited Activities

Academic Misconduct

Plagiarism:

• Copying work from others without proper attribution
• Submitting work written by others as your own
• Self-plagiarism (submitting previous work without permission)
• Unauthorized collaboration on assignments
• Using unauthorized materials during examinations

Cheating:

• Using unauthorized aids during examinations
• Obtaining examination questions in advance
• Sharing examination answers with others
• Impersonating another student during examinations
• Fabricating data or research results

Behavioral Violations

Substance Abuse:

• Use of illegal drugs on university premises
• Alcohol consumption in restricted areas
• Being under influence of drugs or alcohol during academic activities
• Distribution of illegal substances
• Violation of university substance abuse policies

Harassment and Discrimination:

• Harassment based on race, gender, religion, or nationality
• Discriminatory behavior toward any individual or group
• Sexual harassment or misconduct
• Bullying or intimidation of others
• Creating hostile learning environment

⚠️ Limitations of Liability

University Liability

Service Limitations:

• University is not liable for circumstances beyond its control
• Service interruptions may occur due to technical issues
• University is not responsible for personal property loss
• Limitations exist on liability for certain services
• Students should maintain personal insurance coverage

Force Majeure:

• University is not liable for disruptions due to force majeure events
• Natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemics may affect services
• Alternative arrangements will be made when possible
• No refunds or compensation is available for force majeure events
• Students will be informed of service disruptions promptly

Student Responsibility

Personal Liability:

• Students are responsible for their personal safety and security
• University is not liable for off-campus activities
• Students must maintain appropriate personal insurance
• Personal property is the student’s responsibility
• Students must comply with all safety guidelines

📝 Amendment and Termination

Term Modifications

Right to Amend:

• ICAR reserves the right to modify these terms at any time
• Changes will be communicated through official channels
• Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of modified terms
• Students will be given reasonable notice of significant changes
• Questions about changes should be directed to student services

Termination of Terms:

• These terms terminate upon completion of the academic program
• Early termination may occur due to withdrawal or expulsion

Termination of Enrollment

Voluntary Withdrawal:

Involuntary Termination:
